Time to write VHDL like a big boy now

Nice complete example in PPT format:
http://www.cse.wustl.edu/~jbf/cse362.d/cse362.vhdl.Generate.pdf
Very similar example except that he did the shift out code the way that I've done it so far:
http://www.people.vcu.edu/~rhklenke/tutorials/vhdl/modules/m11_23/sld035.htm
The google search:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=active&q=vhdl+shift+register+generate+example&aq=f&oq=&aqi=
And the even more basic google search:

Results of websearching so far:
This publication: http://www.uwex.edu/ces/cty/polk/hort/documents/creepingcharlie.pdf
indicates that 2,4-D is ineffective on Creeping Charlie, recommends dicamba, and says go with liquid rather than granular if possible
This allexperts answer: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Lawns-725/organic-question-creeping-Charlie.htm
points to a U of Min. study about borax, recommends a specifc formula of 20-mule-team (10 oz to 2-1/2 gal water per 1000 sq feet), and is against 2,4-D on an environmentalist basis.
This yahoo answer: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090520201108AAIDi6J
is bullish on Weed-B-Gone due to being effective on other weeds too.
This yahoo answer: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060628183732AAvr0mf
has a much more imprecise recommended formulation with borax (5 tbsp per 1 quart, apply with a spray bottle). Effective time, 6 weeks. Comments are hilarious.
